QotD: What I Love About Vox

In honor of Vox's launch tomorrow, what's your favorite feature or aspect of Vox?

 

I have had the chance to meet some incredibly awesome people here on Vox.  Some are extremely intelligent while others have an immense amount of creative talent.  I am very happy to have been part of such an amazing community with great ideas.

The blog layout is fantastic, unlike anything else I have yet to see on the internet.   I am now trying to stay optimistic about the Vox's decision to become an open network.  I know it means I will come across new territory, but I am willing to stay open to new ideas.

Rockin' & Rollin' with the Stones

The Rolling Stones are in concert tonight at Zilker Park here in Austin.  SInce the tickets are too expensive to purchase off of Ticketmasters website, we're hoping we'll be able to find some from the grounds...  Yes, it isnt the most legal thing to do.  It wont be a setback if we cant purchase them - we'll do like a lot of Austinites are doing tonight - we'll set up camp in the park and listen to the music.   I believe we're all excited about the event.  A number of us are going... it's a once in a lifetime chance.

This morning I wrote an entry about this post I ran into.  Let me be clear, I do not want this person banned...  nor do I want her entry deleted. 

 

I only wish I had heard from one of  Vox's moderators so they could have shown me what I had to do to block them.  I have my answer now thanks to someone who gave me a solution.

 

It is what it is people - we are all entitled to our opinions.

I just finished reading the most disturbing entry.  I know we are all entitled to our opinions but Wasabi? took it to a new level.  I know that woman must lack a bit of education.

Which of your five senses (touch, taste, sight, hearing, or smell) do you value the most?

Touch - considering a few years ago I had a bad case of trigger digit finger.  It was an awful experience for me, especially since I couldnt do anything for them ( i was pregnant at the time and the only quick resolution is steroids).  What happens is your thumbs stiffen and you cant bend them - once you do you experience excruciating pain. I did recover ... and now I wouldnt take these two babies for granted.. mwah to my leftie & mwuah mwuah my rightie.

Doing some cleaning & lots of cooking!  =)
