QotD: It's Like Riding A Bike

Who taught you how to ride a bike?

My dad taught me how to ride my bike.  He pushed my bike and ran behind me for a couple of seconds than released me to ride on my own... It was sort of cheating though because I had training wheels.. haha   Anyways,  I remember it was during Thanksgiving Holiday and the air was cool.  I also remember how awesome the bike was... It was a pink huffy with the inscription Sweet Thunder.  It was awesome because it was a semi dirt bike... and it wasnt really a girly girly bike so I could still hang out with the boys.  :)

My mother gave me a 45 of Hey Jude when I was five.  I listened to it over and over and over.  Eventually I had all of the Beatles albums.  hahaha

Even though I have come across amazing music throughout my lifetime, this was the one that made an impact.

QotD: Call The Fashion Police

You must have been a fashion victim at least once in your life. What hideous blunder did you commit?

Yes, I admit I was a fashion victim.  I at one time wanted so much to be like one of the bangles.  Had the wavy locks going with the puffy bangs... wore the short pleaded skirts ... really I wore the 80s out.  When the 90s came around I wanted to be like MC Hammer ... remember the z cavaricci pants, the stone washed pants... hoop earrings, the john lennon glasses... hahaha   yeah I did away with the 90s too!! 

Today... well I'm dear old mom so I've toned it down considerably.  :)

 

Still at least I never used a fanny pack!!!!
